A Progressive Leader Ready To Take Action
My family and I first moved to West Jordan in 2015. I spend most of my time as a stay at home dad. My wife and I have two kids and although I operate two businesses I am privileged to be able to spend a significant amount of time with them.
This is my second time running for City Council of West Jordan. I wasn't sure what to expect during the last election cycle; I was a relatively unknown name in the community and had few allies to lean on. After declaring my candidacy it didn't take long for the phone calls and emails from my neighbors to start pouring in. I was touched by how passionate the people of West Jordan are about this incredible city and the resounding message was: we want a representative who listens.
That's why I'm again running to be your City Council Member. We haven't seen progress on the issues you expressed mattered the most. It's been two years and water rates, property taxes, East/West traffic, police reform, affordable housing and environmental issues are all still needing to be addressed. I am a progressive leader who is ready to finally take action and make positive changes to improve our community. To make it a safer, more affordable and an equitable place for people of all backgrounds. I am a leader who listens.
